Post subject:  Looking for 2-3 training partners

Hey everyone,

Last year I moved back to the QC after spending 13 years in Switzerland. I used to play a lot over there on the national tour. I stopped playing about 6 years ago to spend more time with my family. Now that they are getting older...me too....I am going to start playing more often. So I am looking for 2-3 playing partners that are available around 4 pm Wednesday and Friday.
I'm not looking to play any leagues as they usually are played later in the evening. Let me know if you are interested......

What's the interest in disc golf like in Switzerland? Interested to see how it compares to the US and here in the QC area!

I can be out there at 4 pm wednesdays and fridays....at least that is my plan ;)

Switzerland....back when I played, we had 20-30 players at each tournament. This was the core players that played every tournament. There are 2 EuroTour events in Switzerland. The Swiss Open in Geneva(used to be the European Masters) and the Bern Open in Bern at Gurten Park. These 2 had about 40 players. Since then, Discgolf has boomed. From what I understand, there is a waiting list for almost every tournament now. And several new clubs.

Here are a couple links for Switzerland:

Welcome! I've been to Luzern and Rotkruez. I don't think my spelling is correct for either city. LOL Lovely country!

Wednesdays should work but Fridays will be hit and miss for me. Steady, you and turdburd down for this?
What course were you thinking about? Middle works pretty good with the open field between 7 and 8 and the practice basket at 18.

Roc....I was thinking of camden since that is the closest for me. And they have 2 courses to choose from.

Steady....Luzern is right....and Rotkreuz.......close enough. It's a wonder that an American even knows where Switzerland is. Too many mix it up for Sweden ;)

"turdbird"! Thats the best you've got.... Wednesdays would work better for me, Fridays would be tough.

It was a little weak wasn't it? I'll try harder next time.

Camden is kind of out of the way for me and Bettendorf or Davenport are on the way home. I already have about a 30 minute commute each way to and from work. I wouldn't be able to commit to Wednesdays and Fridays at Camden on a regular basis.

I do miss Thurday Night Thunder @ Camden. That was more about beer and less about golf. Wonder what PK is up to?

Yeah, the Iowa side would be better for me too if that makes any difference.

I haven't heard anything from/about PK all winter. Hope he's doing ok....
